Weekly Photo Challenge: Weight(less)

I couldn’t really pinpoint one photograph that suited the prompt to a ‘T’ so here I am giving something close enough (hopefully).

“Life is like gravity. You have to let it keep you grounded, but you can never let it keep you down.” — Shayne McClendon.

On the way back after trekking in Ladakh, we came across the Zanskar river. There were two 'modes' of crossing it. This is one, where people would sit in that little box and at the end of the rope were scrawny men pulling you across. Never would you hope to be the lightest being on the planet than that moment!

Never before this would you hope to be the lightest being on the planet than at that moment!
You can see the guys pulling the rope don't look bulky or even strong for that matter. But they actually are.

This 'mode' is self controlled. YOU are the one pulling your weight in to the other side of the river. You still would wish you're the lightest being on the planet.

I call this 'The Machine Man.' Made completely of old, thrown out electronics, it stand tall and mighty ready to crush you. It reminds me of The Terminator.

You’re welcome 🙂 The trek was a blast. Nothing but mountains surrounding you and complete peace and quiet. A full starry sky at night. It was absolute bliss.
P.S. So sorry for the late reply.
