Weekly Photo Challenge: Today Was a Good Day

“The tiny seed knew that in order to grow, it needed to be dropped in dirt, covered with darkness, and struggle to reach the light.” — Sandra Kring.

We don’t have a huge garden or even a large balcony or a veranda to grow plants. But we do have enough space to place a few pots around. We might not be able to grow a large apple tree but nothing stops us from growing vegetables that do not require a huge amount of space.

This is the journey of a tomato plant that grew in our very own ‘backyard’.

The beautiful yellow flower blooming with its little sibling sprouting right next to it.

The flower dries out giving way to the juicy fruit (although used more as a vegetable).

Enjoying the fruits grown in your own homemade pots is an entirely new and exciting experience.
