Weekly Photo Challenge: New

It was the first time that I spotted these birds. They were completely new to me. Unfortunately I don’t know the names of these birds. But they are truly something. Every time a wave would rush to greet the sand, these birds would hop around like maniacs as if they were about to attack the water. It was quite a hilarious sight to behold. There were plenty of them but trying to snap a picture of them was like chasing chickens and trying to grab one! I managed to get a couple of shots though.

“Be like the bird that, pausing in her flight awhile on boughs too slight, feels them give way beneath her, and yet sings, knowing that she hath wings.” – Victor Hugo.
